Description:  Read something by Karen Armstrong and come discuss with us.  There are many to choose from, some are on the reserve shelf in the Center's library waiting for you, as well as Smith Family Books, Eugene Public Library . . .

 Would you like to get to know her story?  There are two choices Through the Narrow Gate and The Spiral Staircase.  Through the Narrow Gate covers her time as a nun in the 1960's, and her decision to leave that life, while Spiral Staircase deals with the aftermath and her growing interest in the spiritual life, but from a different perspective.
