Quote from Life is Eternal Newness

Life is Eternal Newness

by Ilie Cioara

O-Books, Washington, USA, 2012.  125 pages

With our knowing mind we can only search for that which we already know. Finding is nothing but a recognition of something we have known previously, preserved as an image on the film of memory, stored at the level of the astral body.

Let us see how memory is recorded. Through the five senses, we receive all kinds of information from the surrounding environment. Through the sense organs and the nervous system, this information reaches the neural-cerebral system and the astral brain. According to the information we receive, we will take certain decisions. In this process of perception and decision, we use a large quantity of brain cells, which can be used only once; therefore, no other information can be recorded in them. These brain cells store and record the images of past experiences, enabling us to recognize them. (pp. 74-75)
