Quote from Words Out of Silence
Words Out of Silence: 60 Days in Solitude

Day 17
I heard the phone ringing in my cabin.
I rushed home to get it.
It was a bird in the tree calling me home.
Then I remembered, I don’t have a phone.
I thought I had to have more energy, better health, more
meditation, etc.
All just thoughts, when no, it’s been perfect, every moment,
to lead to where I Am.
It’s just a shut up and wake up kind of thing.
It’s more confusion than ignorance or fear. (p. 46-48)
